正值新中建交50周年之际，2022年‘’冰雪艺缘”刘中艺术展基督城站的展览于8月13日在新西兰基督城艺术中心隆重举行。嘉宾们参观了刘中先生的二百米手卷，纷纷对艺术家精湛的技艺及优秀的作品赞叹不已。特别是刘中先生为2022年北京冬季奥运会上，新西兰代表队的两位获得金牌运动员创作的画作，让现场中外观众备受感动。

2024年7月23日新西兰中华文艺联合会举办的第三届艺术作品展在基督城著名的艺术中心开幕。画展不仅在新西兰传播了中华文化，而且也加深了中新友谊，为27日举办的亚洲艺术节热身。

新西兰新中文联第二届书画艺术展览，于2023年5月3日在南岛克赖斯特彻奇的艺术中心举办了开幕式。本次书画展的主题是“让世界更美好”，展出新西兰、中国国内、澳大利亚、日本书画艺术家作品62幅。其中有油画、中国水墨画、工笔画、丙烯画、素描、木刻、书法，艺术形式琳琅满目。为基督城2023年亚洲艺术节增添了靓丽的色彩。

又是一个南太平洋温暖的冬日，7月13日，中华人民共和国驻克赖斯特彻奇总领馆何颖总领事一行出席第四届国际美术作品展览。这次美术作品展由克赖斯特彻奇市艺术中心、新西兰人人艺术家基金会和新西兰中华文艺联合会联合举办，以“多彩·共生”为主题。除了新西兰的本地华侨华人的作品以外， 还有来自中国、意大利等多国艺术家的油画、国画、版画和书法作品，是在基督城举办的海外华人国际美术作品展。
